Sevenoaks Suns are delighted to announce the signing of American guard Araion Bradshaw.
The Boston, Massachusetts native is a defensive standout having been named to the A-10 All-Defensive for three successive seasons as part of a five-year spell at the University of Dayton.
Dayton was named Defensive Player of the Year in the Conference in the 2020-21 season before averaging 6.0 points, 5.1 rebounds and 4.2 assists per game as a Grad Student.
“I’m confident Araion will be a very good player in our league,” said Suns head coach Len Busch. “She comes from a good programme and had a great college career.
“She’s a great defender and can score in many ways. I’m really excited to see her in a Suns uniform.”
Bradshaw was a freshman at South Carolina as part of the team that won the NCAA Championship title in 2017 alongside recent WNBA MVP A’ja Wilson and London Lions signing Mikiah Herbert-Harrigan.
The rookie is the first of three new American signings to be announced this week.
